Audit Non-FS Public Sector (Assistant Manager)

About the role

This exciting opportunity will require the successful candidate to work as a part of the experienced team taking ownership of sections of the audit engagements, supported by UK engagement manager(s). Delivering highquality is our top priority, and as an audit senior you will be responsible to deliver to these high standards, doing the right thing and taking responsibility in line with expectations and requirements.

What you'll do

• Assess and produce high quality work in line with the Firm's policy and processes, meeting relevant regulatory requirements
• Managing and controlling audit assignments assigned to you in timely manner
• Managing time spent to complete audit tasks and procedures in line with agreed timescales and providing regular status updates on progress
• Ensure audit standards and review protocols are maintained during an engagement, which includes timely clearance of review notes
• Act as a point of contact for engagement managers and clients, ensuring both are kept fully informed of relevant issues arising and the progress of the audit

What you need
