Automotive Functional Safety Staff Engineer - Digital DesignWare IP at Synopsys (incl. Ansys). Develop and maintain ISO 26262 work products including Technical Safety Concept, FMEDA, FTA, DFMEA, DFA, Safety Plan, and Safety Case for Digital DesignWare IP.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain ISO 26262 work products including Technical Safety Concept, FMEDA, FTA, DFMEA, DFA, Safety Plan, and Safety Case for Digital DesignWare IP
• Collaborate with IP development teams and automotive customers to align functional safety deliverables with project timelines and ASIL requirements
• Evaluate customer quality, functional safety, and reliability requirements, translating them into actionable engineering guidance
• Design and implement automation scripts to streamline safety analysis workflows, including FMEDA and fault injection reporting
• Lead quality and functional safety reviews, generating detailed reports with findings and recommendations for design improvements

What you need

• 8–14 yrs of experience

• B.Tech or B.E.
