AVP - Accounting

About the role

The AVP, GCC is a hands-on, technically fluent leader responsible for the performance, quality, and continuous evolution of April Housing's India-based finance and accounting team.

What you'll do

• Operational Ownership & Delivery
• Own the India team's complete workload intake, prioritization, assignment, execution, and on-time
• Manage the cadence of recurring deliverables, including the month-end and year-end close, bank and cash reconciliations
• Establish and monitor service levels, turnaround times, and quality metrics; identify capacity constraints early and reallocate resources to protect critical deadlines
• Serve as the primary escalation point for the India team, resolving issues promptly to maintain workflow continuity and prevent downstream impact to onshore stakeholders

• Accounting
• Reconciliation
• Month-end close
• US GAAP
• Internal controls
• Financial reporting
• B.Com or Chartered Accountant or CMA or MBA
