AVP - Finance & Controllership

About the role

The AVP – Controllership will be responsible for leading the MCM India’s controllership and payroll functions, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliant payroll operations. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders while driving process excellence and team capability.

What you'll do

• Lead financial closing, overseeing GL, balance sheet, accruals, provisions, and key accounting judgments
• Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and all statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements - 30%
• Own payroll operations & ensuring timely and accurate processing while managing payroll changes in partnership with HR
• Ensure compliance with all statutory payroll regulations and oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, and statutory filings - 30%
• Design and strengthen internal financial controls across accounting and payroll, acting as the finance lead for internal & statutory audits
