Backup Engineer - Commvault

About the role

The Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is a developing engineering role, responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. Through the proactive monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving of technical incidents and problems, the Managed Services Cross Technology Engineer (L2) is able to restore service to clients.

What you'll do

• Should possess good product and domain knowledge
• Manage, configuration and implementation skills in Commvault platform
• Perform daily backup routines as defined in policy
• Configure, monitor alerts, diagnose event alerts
• Configure storage units, column pools, disk staging and storage lifecycle policies, creating policies and schedules

What you need

• 4–7 yrs of experience
• Cloud security
• Networking
• B.Tech or B.E.
