About the role

The Senior Vice President (SVP) will support the execution of the Financial Crime Risk Management strategy for Citi's Banking business across the UK & EMEA region. This role is a critical component of the First Line of Defense (1LOD), providing cluster leadership and oversight of financial crime risk matters, while ensuring effective coordination across businesses, control functions, and legal entities.

What you'll do

Provide regional leadership and oversight of financial crime risks across the UK & EMEA Banking franchise, ensuring effective identification, assessment
Provide independent challenge and strategic guidance to senior business management on higher-risk clients, sensitive relationships, emerging typologies
Lead and execute complex financial crime risk assessments, thematic reviews, portfolio analyses and sensitive client matters
Represent Financial Crime Risk in governance forums and management committees, presenting assessments of material risks, emerging trends
Foster effective coordination across Business, Compliance, Legal, Risk and other control functions to ensure consistent identification
