Base Metals - Sales & Trading

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Trader to strengthen and expand the organization's Base Metals business. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, generating trading volumes, and facilitating transactions across base metals such as Aluminium, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Nickel and Tin.

What you'll do

• Business Development & Client Acquisition
• Identify, develop and acquire new clients for the organization's base metals trading business
• Build and expand relationships with corporates, metal manufacturers, industrial consumers, commodity traders, importers, exporters, dealers and institutional clients
• Generate new business opportunities through active market coverage, networking, industry connections and client referrals
• Develop and maintain a strong client pipeline to drive business growth and increase trading volumes
