Bid & Cost Estimation Lead - Metro

About the role

The Cost Estimation Lead will oversee the preparation and accuracy of project cost estimates for highway construction bids, including HAM, TOT, and BOT projects. This role involves leading a team of cost estimation specialists and executives, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with various departments to deliver competitive and precise cost projections.

What you'll do

• Lead the preparation of comprehensive project cost estimates, O&M costs, including BOQ, detailed rate analysis, and benchmarking with comparable projects
• Enable business development team with the cost estimates used for preparing effective right-sized bids for winning new projects
• Ensure cost estimates align with MORTH/IRC specifications and industry standards
• Verify and approve cost estimates prepared by the team for bidding, ensuring the most competitive and accurate cost projections
• Conduct site studies and evaluate local material availability to ensure competitive project cost estimates

What you need

• 12–22 yrs of experience
