Bridge Product Accountant

About the role

The Product Accounting team at Stripe supports products across Stripe by providing guidance on accounting implications and enabling teams to make informed strategic decisions. The team records business transactions accurately and on time in the balance sheet and income statement, and partners with cross-functional and international teams in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Leverage your technical expertise with U.S. GAAP to identify accounting implications and customer impacts and advise cross-functional partners
• Be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate month-end close results for Bridge products, while also working on initiatives to create scalable accounting solutions
• Plan and perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, analytic reviews, and financial reporting deliverables for Bridge products
• Identify, recommend and implement scalable accounting processes to support global growth at Bridge
• Partner with our business and finance teams to understand new products, features, and contracts, and advise on accounting implications

What you need

• 7–13 yrs of experience

• B.Com or Chartered Accountant
