About the role

Business Intelligence Analyst IV at Applied Materials. This role combines business intelligence, market intelligence, strategic analysis, and data-driven decision support.

What you'll do

  • Own the problem. Scope analytics and business intelligence initiatives supporting strategic, operational, market, and quality programs. Frame the question
  • Be the day-to-day partner to the business. Work closely with Business Management, GPMs, and BU leaders to understand business priorities, market opportunities
  • Drive market and competitive intelligence. Develop market sizing, TAM/SAM/SOM models, segment analyses, technology landscape assessments, competitive benchmarking
  • Research beyond the data. Gather and synthesize information from customer interactions, MRS documents, analyst reports, industry publications, earnings releases
  • Turn analysis into language leaders act on. Interpret results in business, financial, and strategic terms for management and executives
