CAD Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled CAD Software Development Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in CAD API programming, software customization, and Windows-based application development. The role focuses on building and maintaining reliable CAD automation systems, integrating multiple CAD platforms, handling complex file formats, and improving the performance and reliability of 3D processing and visualization workflows.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance CAD automation and API integration solutions using C# and C++
• Manage SolidWorks instances running as headless, multi-process services with robust process lifecycle management
• Diagnose and resolve RPC errors, COM failures, application crashes, process hangs, and memory-level issues on Windows
• Build reliable process-pool mechanisms with health checks, automatic recovery, graceful degradation, and kill-and-restart capabilities
• Develop and maintain integrations with multiple CAD platforms, including SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, and similar systems
