CAM Mechanical Design Engineer Bengaluru. at Switchgear and Control Technics. Design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, frames, and assemblies for electrical panels, switchgear, and control systems.

What you'll do

• Perform design analysis to ensure mechanical components can withstand operational loads, thermal conditions, and environmental stresses
• Collaborate with the electrical design team to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical elements in panel assemblies
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (such as IEC, UL, IS) and company specifications in all mechanical designs
• Conduct design validation and prototype testing to verify the performance and functionality of mechanical components
• Identify areas for cost reduction, product improvement, and manufacturing efficiency without compromising product quality or safety
