Chemical Plant Operator

About the role

To operate and monitor chemical process plant equipment safely and efficiently, ensure smooth production operations, maintain process parameters, and follow all safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

What you'll do

• Operate and monitor chemical process equipment such as reactors, agitators, pumps, filters/filter presses, centrifuges, dryers, dosing systems, storage tanks
• Handle chemical processes involving leaching, precipitation, filtration, washing, purification, crystallization, and solid-liquid separation
• Monitor and maintain critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, pH, flow, level, agitation, and chemical dosing
• Carry out chemical charging and dosing as per approved SOPs, batch sheets, and process instructions
• Perform safe handling, transfer, and storage of acids, alkalis, solvents, and other process chemicals

What you need

• 6–7 yrs of experience
• Chemistry
• Quality control
• SOP writing
• Maintenance
• Safety management
• Troubleshooting
• B.Sc
