Claims Manager - LAM

About the role

The Claims Manager will lead a team of Claims Adjusters and oversee the efficient and high-quality handling of cargo and marine claims within the Maersk Fleet environment. The role works closely with the Head of Claims Operations and Regional Claims leadership to ensure claims quality, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead, coach and support a team of Claims Adjusters in managing cargo and marine claims in line with established guidelines and procedures
• Monitor team performance, service levels, KPIs and claims quality
• Provide technical guidance on complex, high-value and sensitive claims , including liability, settlement and recovery matters
• Ensure claims are appropriately investigated, documented and resolved while balancing customer experience, commercial considerations and legal requirements
• Protect and pursue recovery rights and support loss prevention initiatives
