About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commis 1 to join our culinary team at our restaurant in Mysuru, India. As a Commis 1 specializing in Continental Cuisine, you will work under the guidance of senior kitchen staff to prepare ingredients, execute basic cooking techniques, and maintain the highest standards of food quality and safety.

What you'll do

• Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and chef specifications
• Execute fundamental continental cuisine cooking techniques including sautéing, braising, and sauce preparation
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols
• Assist in the preparation of mise en place for service periods
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stovetops, and food processors
