About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Commis 2 - Tandoor to join our culinary team in Kochi, India. In this role, you will work under the supervision of senior chefs to prepare and cook dishes using traditional tandoor techniques. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation while contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced kitchen environment.

What you'll do

• Work under the supervision of senior chefs to prepare and cook dishes using traditional tandoor techniques
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using tandoor cooking methods, including breads, meats, and vegetables
• Maintain proper food preparation and handling procedures in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality and doneness of food items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tandoor station and surrounding work areas
