Commodity Senior Buyer Specialist - Casting & Machining

About the role

This role is responsible for managing buying activities for the India Metallic – Casting and Machining commodity area , supporting sourcing requirements across all CNH India facilities . The position will report directly to the India Metallic – Casting and Machining Manager and will be expected to manage assigned sourcing, supplier development, commercial and operational priorities for cast and machined components.

What you'll do

• Lead supplier selection, RFQ management, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiations and contracting for assigned parts in alignment with cost
• Ensure compliance with Purchasing processes, systems, and Delegation of Authority (DoA)
• Lead annual cost negotiations including YOY productivity, raw material variations, commercial and technical cost reductions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Manage and control material cost drivers including raw material indices, inflation, productivity, and supplier economics
• Own budget planning (material cost, capex, revenue) and continuous tracking of performance vs targets
