About the role

Communications Systems Engineering Manager at MaxLinear. Candidate is expected to lead the development of communications ICs having advanced signal processing blocks.

What you'll do

• This involves breaking down a problem into manageable sub-problems – assigning them to engineers and tracking their progress
• Involve tracking the progress and finding out what is causing lack of progress on one piece and digging into the details and help make progress
• Interact with RF, ASIC design and Mktg. teams set expectations on the teams’ deliverables and drive the team to achieve it
• Play the role of a Debug Lead to solve specific issues that come up from the Customer side – rally the people in your team and across teams towards resolving the issue
• Mentor multiple staff Engineers and provide guidance to help them progress further technically or otherwise
