Community Manager Job

About the role

You will develop the content plan, engage the community daily, and relay what it teaches to the strategists who act on it. Communities reward presence and punish absence — the seat suits someone who genuinely likes the medium. Presence is the strategy, and metrics only confirm it. Client communities vary — political, corporate, institutional — and the judgment to shift register between them is the professional skill.

What you'll do

• Develop the content plan, engage the community daily, and relay what it teaches to the strategists who act on it
• Build, grow and manage online communities around client brands, causes and principals
• Develop and run the community content plan — posts, articles, newsletters, videos
• Engage daily: respond to comments and requests at the tempo communities expect
• Use: Social publishing and moderation suites, Analytics platforms, Community platforms, Newsletter and content scheduling tools
