Consultant-GIS

About the role

WSP is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and delivery-oriented candidate who has practical experience with GIS and a profound interest in GIS technologies and updates. Consultant GIS will assist with data management and mapping activities related to Contaminated lands, Environmental Planning, Ecology and Environmental Impact Assessment, Archaeology, Heritage, Indigenous Relations and other environmental investigations projects.

What you'll do

• Preparing maps, drawings, figures, sketches, charts and presentation posters for use in proposals and reports
• Participate in 2D and 3D GIS data analysis, file management, database management, spatial data capture, georeferencing, structuring and integration into GIS data themes
• Report to and review project work with senior GIS personnel
• Work collaboratively with staff from other WSP offices, as required to meet project and client needs
• Communicate and operate in a professional and courteous manner with team members, Project Managers, and clients

What you need

• 5–9 yrs of experience
• Data analysis
• Data warehousing
• Any graduate
