About the role
Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Application Support Engineer to join our Development & Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the stability, performance, and integrity of our mission-critical mainframe applications.
What you'll do
- Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for production mainframe applications
- Perform rapid troubleshooting and incident resolution for batch failures and online transaction errors
- Manage "on-call" rotations to ensure 24/7 availability for critical business processes
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues to prevent future outages
- Analyze, design, and implement code changes (bug fixes and small enhancements) in COBOL
What you need
