Consultant - OT Data Operations Engineering

About the role

The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. The team employs advanced analytics throughout these processes, fostering adaptability and operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Design, configure, and deploy Ignition-based OT Data Operations gateways at the manufacturing edge, including virtual machines, Windows Server environments
• Implement and standardize sensor-to-signal workflows from PLC/SCADA connectivity through calculations and contextualization into MES and analytics platforms
• Collaborate with MES engineers, solution architects, and site controls engineers to ensure smooth integration of the OT Data Operations layer with TrakSYS MES
• Apply and maintain ISA-95-aligned data models for assets, materials, orders, and events, ensuring consistency across plants and use cases
• Partner with IT integration teams to design scalable and supportable integration patterns between OT systems, SAP, PLM, and enterprise analytics platforms
