Controls Design Engineer

About the role

Controls Design Engineer (CDE) - The main function is to work on design of electrical loop schematic (ELS) , Single Line Diagram (SLD) , Electrical Panel Layout and Control system design including PLC SW and HW , HMI SW changes for turbomachinery projects for New equipment (NPI, NTI) or Aftermarket product changes or upgrades.

What you'll do

• Design of turbine and driven equipment control systems and upgrades to existing field equipment
• Responsible for Electrical design & maintenance for new production orders, aftermarket, new product development, retrofits, refurbishments
• Create the electrical schematic, console and package electrical wiring diagrams, interconnect wiring schedule, controller and display (HMI) software
• Design Industrial Automation system including the PLC HW selection and system design and PLC SW changes using Ladder Logic
• Make subsequent changes to HMI SW design
