About the role
We are seeking a Product Costing Engineer with expertise in Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Machined Parts, Jig & MIG Welding, CNC, and VMC processes. The candidate will be responsible for estimating product costs, optimizing manufacturing expenses, and collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to achieve cost-eAective production.
What you'll do
- Evaluate vendor quotations and assess cost feasibility for sheet metal, fabrication, machining, and welding
- Prepare detailed product cost sheets and maintain cost databases
- Analyze and compare actual vs. estimated costs, identifying key cost drivers
- Monitor raw material price fluctuations and their impact on product costing
- Collaborate with production, design, and procurement teams to optimize cost eAective manufacturing processes
