CTO Robotics Research Engineer Perception

About the role

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of robotics research, focusing on computer vision, Visual-Language-Action (VLA) models, and sensor fusion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics and perception systems, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying advanced solutions for real-world robotic applications.

What you'll do

• Lead and contribute to cutting-edge research and development in computer vision, VLA models, and multi-sensor fusion for autonomous robotic systems
• Design, implement, and optimise perception algorithms to enhance the capabilities of robotic platforms in complex environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate perception modules with planning, control, and manipulation subsystems
• Prototype and validate perception solutions in both simulated (using NVIDIA Isaac Sim) and real-world scenarios
• Mentor junior engineers and researchers, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
