About the role

Lay out, mark, and cut leather or non-leather materials into footwear components according to patterns, cutting dies, and production specifications while ensuring accuracy and efficient material utilization.

What you'll do

• Review patterns, markers, cutting instructions, and material requirements before starting the cutting process
• Position and cut leather or non-leather materials using the prescribed tools, machines, or cutting dies
• Ensure the cut components meet required dimensions, shape, grain direction, and quality standards
• Inspect materials for defects and avoid unsuitable areas wherever applicable
• Meet production targets while minimizing material wastage and cutting errors
