Deputy General Manager

About the role

DGM/ AGM will be the primary custodian of high-value, engineered-to-order (ETO) pump projects. Proactively identify long-lead item risks (e.g., specialized castings, motors , etc) and develop mitigation strategies. Further act as a parental role in resolving all internal issues with various interfacing departments in time to ensure on time delivery to clients against their order.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of Project Managers to ensure that complex pump packages are designed, manufactured, tested, and delivered on time, within budget
• Manage the full project P&L, ensuring the post order margin exceeds the pre-order margin
• Serve as the lead negotiator for contract disputes, liquidated damage claims, and force majeure events
• Manage the the critical documentation package that is often a prerequisite for final payment in projects
• Review contract orders and conduct Project Kick off meeting with Customers and Internal team for new and critical orders
