Deputy General Manager - Land & Liasoning

About the role

Conduct preliminary assessment of private, government, forest and other categories of land required for the project. Coordinate land surveys, joint measurements, demarcation, mapping, title verification and preparation of land records. Manage negotiations with landowners and other stakeholders for purchase, lease, consent-based acquisition or other approved modes of land procurement.

What you'll do

• Prepare and implement land acquisition plans, schedules and action trackers in line with project requirements
• Conduct preliminary assessment of private, government, forest and other categories of land required for the project
• Coordinate land surveys, joint measurements, demarcation, mapping, title verification and preparation of land records
• Manage negotiations with landowners and other stakeholders for purchase, lease, consent-based acquisition or other approved modes of land procurement
• Coordinate valuation, compensation assessment, payment processing, registration, mutation and handover of acquired land
