About the role

The Environment Executive in a copper business is responsible for executing and monitoring environmental activities. This includes ensuring compliance with air, water, noise, and biodiversity regulations, conducting environmental monitoring, and preparing reports for senior leadership. The role involves hands-on monitoring and managing environmental data and systems while ensuring operational compliance with environmental regulations.

What you'll do

• Responsible for executing and monitoring environmental activities
• Manage execution of environmental management strategies in line with MOEF guidelines and company policies
• Coordinate the process to obtain and renew statutory environmental approvals, ensuring full compliance with local and national regulations
• Assist the lead in continuous improvement initiatives for reducing the environmental impact of copper smelting operations
• Optimize processes related to waste management, water usage, and emissions to meet sustainability goals

What you need

• 5–9 yrs of experience
