Deputy Manager - Quality (Electrical)

About the role

Responsible for the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of AEL's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with organizational, contractual, and regulatory requirements. Preparation, review & Finalization of Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), QA/QC guidelines, standard templates, procedures, and insp. protocols for all projects as per Group Guideline.

What you'll do

• Coordinate regularly with the Field Quality Assurance (FQA) team and Project Quality Manager (PQM) to resolve day-to-day QA/QC-related issues
• Support the qualification, development, and assessment of new OEMs and electrical equipment manufacturers, including technical and quality evaluations
• Provide support to the FQA team in the selection, deployment, and coordination of Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies at site, as and when required
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, construction managers, and project managers to ensure timely closure of NCs
• Attend meetings with project contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to communicate quality requirements, discuss inspection status
