Deputy National Lead - Risk

About the role

To act as the independent risk control function for the business – monitor portfolio health, run early warning and assurance checks, and ensure that lending stays within the approved Risk Appetite and RBI/internal guidelines, so that credit losses remain within the AOP budget.

What you'll do

• Policy Effectiveness & Swap Sets: Assess whether current policies deliver expected outcomes. Compare policy versus actual performance
• Risk appetite thresholds, EWS triggers and portfolio cut-offs, in consultation with the reporting manager
• Escalation of policy breaches and control gaps, and the scope of independent assurance reviews.|• Loss rates as defined and approved in the AOP at each product level.…
• Time taken by various stakeholders to adapt/ implement obligations/ actionable resulting in delay in finalization of checklist and further processing
• External, seasonal and market factors continuously move risk parameters, so monitoring has to be continuous
