About the role

The Design Lead at HCL is responsible for overseeing and managing the design process, with a strong emphasis on Mechanical Design Fundamentals, CAD Design Skills, and Unigraphics NX. The main objective is to lead the design team in creating innovative and efficient mechanical designs.

What you'll do

• Manage and lead the design team in creating mechanical designs that meet project requirements and industry standards
• Utilize mechanical design fundamentals to develop concepts and detailed designs
• Expertise in unigraphics nx to design and analyze mechanical components and systems
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and align with project timelines
• Conduct design reviews, provide feedback, and ensure continuous improvement in the design process
