DGM: Accounting COE_Pune

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished accounting professional to provide functional leadership within the global Accounting Centre of Excellence. This role oversees IFRS16 governance, guides high-impact transformation initiatives, and ensures consistent, compliant accounting treatment across Vodafone Group markets.

What you'll do

• Lead functional responsibilities within the Accounting Centre of Excellence to ensure adherence to IFRS16 and related accounting governance processes
• Steer accounting treatment for transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with IFRS, Group policies, and local GAAP
• Partner with global teams to prioritise and implement key accounting initiatives, supporting business-critical projects such as Device Lifecycle Management
• Provide expert advice to Chief Accountants and local markets to support accurate financial statements, disclosures, and balance sheet reviews
• Identify process improvement opportunities, analyse IFRS16 performance insights, and support global compliance frameworks
