DGM/GM – Detailed Design/Engineering (Water Projects)

About the role

The Head of Engineering will lead the detailed design function for water infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality technical delivery, client satisfaction, and financial performance. This role combines engineering leadership with commercial oversight, including responsibility for project P&L, invoicing, and client interaction.

What you'll do

• Lead and oversee detailed engineering design activities for water and wastewater projects
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications
• Manage project P&L, drive profitability, and support budget planning and control
• Oversee project invoicing cycles and ensure accurate and timely billing
• Act as primary engineering contact for key clients; maintain strong working relationships

What you need

• 20–30 yrs of experience
• AutoCAD
• Financial reporting
• Revit
• B.Tech or B.E.
