Direct & Indirect Tax - Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 2–3+ years of relevant experience in Direct Tax and Indirect Tax. The candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliances, tax assessments, litigation, advisory and related tax matters. The role will have a strong focus on Indirect Taxation, particularly GST, while also handling Direct Tax matters.

What you'll do

• Review of Input & Output Register monthly for all the three company
• Review GST transactions and advise business teams on the taxability and GST implications of transactions
• Handle GST-related notices, queries, assessments and departmental correspondence
• Support IDT Manager in replying to GST notices and coordinate with tax authorities
• Assist Tax Manager in GST audits, departmental audits, assessments and investigations
