Drainage & Storm Water Modeller

About the role

The Drainage & Storm Water Modeller will be responsible for planning, analysis, design, and hydraulic modelling of urban drainage and storm water systems. The role involves developing hydrologic and hydraulic models, assessing flood risks, evaluating drainage infrastructure capacity, and supporting resilient storm water management solutions for urban, airport, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

What you'll do

• Develop, calibrate, and validate storm water and drainage network models
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for storm water management, urban drainage, and flood mitigation projects
• Assess existing drainage infrastructure capacity and identify system deficiencies
• Conduct catchment delineation, runoff estimation, and flood routing analyses
• Evaluate the performance of pipes, channels, culverts, detention ponds, retention basins, and pumping stations

What you need

• 3–8 yrs of experience
• AutoCAD
• System design
• Calibration
• B.Tech or B.E.
