Draughtsman/Designer - P&ID

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated P&ID Designer / Draughtsman to own the drafting and documentation of Diagrams for custom-engineered process equipment projects across the Energy and Defence sectors. This role works closely with Process and Mechanical Engineers, converting their process logic and redline markups into accurate, standards-compliant, construction-ready drawings.

What you'll do

• Prepare, revise, and maintain P&IDs based on Process Engineer redlines, PFDs, and client specifications
• Ensure correct application of P&ID symbols, line numbering, tag numbering, and valve/instrument conventions per project and international standards (ISA, ISO)
• Maintain and update line lists, valve lists, and instrument indexes in parallel with drawing revisions
• Manage drawing revision control across 30%/60%/90% and IFC (Issued for Construction) stages
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, and Piping teams to ensure consistency across all engineering deliverables
