Drilling Rig Foreman

About the role

Candidate primary role will be to supervise field operations of land Drilling and Workover rigs, engaged in carrying programmed work on deep or otherwise critical wells. Supervises and oversees the operations of a contract rig performing drilling or remedial work on wells ranging from 18,000 - 23,000 feet.

What you'll do

• Ensure all rig personnel and service providers are complaining with the clients safety standards and requirement
• Supervises and oversees all operations performed on wells
• Makes recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations are encountered
• Coordinates deliveries of materials to the well to ensure it is available when required
• Ensures that contractor meets all requirements of his contract
