DWET - Process Engineering Head - O&M

About the role

To lead the Process Engineering function in the O&M Department, ensuring effective monitoring, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of all treatment plants including WTPs, STPs, sludge and biogas systems, and advanced treatment technologies. The Process Head will lead a team of Site Process Engineers across various O&M Projects, provide technical leadership, ensure process compliance, and drive operational excellence.

What you'll do

• Continuously monitor the performance of all Water Treatment Plants (WTPs), Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), Ozonation systems, sludge management systems
• Identify performance gaps and take corrective/preventive actions to enhance treatment efficiency and reliability
• Lead process audits and implement optimization strategies for energy, chemical, and resource efficiency
• Act as the technical authority for diagnosing and resolving complex process issues across all sites
• Provide expert support in handling upsets, process deviations, and ensuring compliance with discharge norms
