About the role

As the Deputy Manager - Maintenance (Utilities) at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of utility and manufacturing equipment essential to our tractor production processes. Oversee and implement maintenance strategies for mechanical power presses, EOT cranes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.

What you'll do

• Play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of utility and manufacturing equipment essential to our tractor production processes
• Oversee and implement maintenance strategies for mechanical power presses, EOT cranes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
• Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis to swiftly resolve mechanical and system issues, utilising tools such as Kaizens, VSM, QC Story, MFMEA, CBM
• Monitor and improve equipment uptime metrics including MTTR, MTBF, and preventative maintenance schedules, particularly for tryout and spotting presses, CNC machines
• Ensure statutory, regulatory, and legal compliance related to equipment and occupational health and safety standards across the manufacturing utility infrastructure

What you need

• 8–11 yrs of experience
• Maintenance
• CNC operation
• TPM
• IATF 16949
• Root cause analysis
• Lean manufacturing
• B.Tech or B.E.
