Economic Analyst Consultant

About the role

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with large datasets, and a solid foundation in economics and econometrics. The role requires proficiency in SAS, Python, and SQL for data management, analysis, and reporting.

What you'll do

• Import, transform, and manage data form various sources and formats, including Excel, CSV, TXT, and database extracts
• Perform data cleaning on numeric, categorical, string, and date/time variables
• Conduct data quality checks, validation exercises, and sanity checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Write efficient SAS, Python, and SQL programs to automate data preparation and analytical workflows
• Produce high-quality tables, charts, and visualizations, and analytical outputs for client deliverables
