Edge Network Engineering Internship

About the role

This internship does not assume prior professional deployment experience or customer-facing ownership. Interns work alongside a senior engineer on live implementation activities — observing design decisions, assisting with configuration and testing under supervision, and learning the fundamentals of network routing, switching, and security.

What you'll do

• Assist senior engineers during customer deployments of edge computing infrastructure, cloud integration, and SD-WAN platforms
• Support end-to-end implementation activities — architecture walkthroughs, configuration, testing, and go-live — under the direction of a senior engineer
• Observe how project managers, systems engineers, and customer stakeholders align on design and timelines, and contribute where appropriate
• Assist with troubleshooting deployment issues across operating systems, hypervisors, containers, and networks, always under supervision
• Learn to write basic automation scripts and reusable tooling to support deployment consistency, guided by senior engineers
