Electrical and Electronics Cost Out Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical and technically proficient Cost out Engineer with a strong foundation in electrical and electronics engineering and manufacturing processes. This role is critical in supporting design-to-cost initiatives by working closely with product engineering teams to influence cost-effective design decisions early in the development cycle.

What you'll do

• Analyze engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to understand design intent and cost drivers
• Activities related to the principles of Electrical engineering, Design Calculations, analysis, manufacturing
• Prepare reports and documentation required for project delivery
• Specifications of key components such as Inductor, Transformer, Capacitors, Busbar laminates, cooling systems and translate design intent to stakeholders
• Maintain cost benchmarks and databases for various manufacturing processes and materials
