Electrical Engineer (Airfield Ground Lighting)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) to support the planning, design, and implementation of airside electrical systems for airport development and modernization projects. The role focuses on the design and integration of AGL systems in accordance with ICAO, FAA, EASA, and applicable national aviation standards to ensure the highest levels of airfield safety and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Develop and deliver airfield ground lighting designs for runways, taxiways, aprons, helipads, holding positions, stop bars, and associated airside facilities
• Prepare concept, preliminary, and detailed engineering designs in compliance with ICAO, FAA, EASA, and applicable national aviation standards
• Design and coordinate the electrical infrastructure supporting AGL systems, including Constant Current Regulators (CCRs), series circuits, transformers
• Perform electrical calculations and equipment sizing to ensure system performance and resilience
• Lead the design and integration of Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring Systems (ALCMS), ensuring seamless interface with airport operational systems
