Electrical Engineer – Power System Studies

About the role

This role focuses on performing various analyses and design for renewable energy power systems, including grounding design, short-circuit, load-flow, arc flash, and protective device coordination studies for solar, battery energy storage, and renewable substation facilities. This role directly contributes to collection system design and overall project execution.

What you'll do

• Core Technical & Functional
• Perform power systems studies including but not limited to Grounding studies, short circuit, load flow, arc flash, protective device coordination, ampacity, harmonic
• Build and maintain system models for utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and collection system configurations
• Size and route medium voltage collection system cable under established design criteria
• Prepare study reports, calculation packages, and support project documentation
