Electrical Engineer - Solar PMC

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical architectures, SCADA automation, and control-system interfaces for GW assets. At least 2 to 3 years of focused experience handling solar SCADA, automation, PLC programming, or substation control systems.

What you'll do

• Inspect installation against approved drawings and ITP hold/witness points for modules/string wiring, DC cabling, SCBs/SMBs, inverters, IDTs
• Monitor MV cabling/OHPL interfaces, ACDB/ICOG/MCR/PSS works, earthing, lightning protection, metering, protection, SCADA communication, I/O and control-system interfaces
• Witness allocated electrical and SCADA/control-interface checks, including communication readiness and alarm/interlock/data-point verification
• Coordinate electrical and SCADA/control-system workfront releases and interface issues with Civil, Design, Commissioning and Construction Management resources
• Maintain field observation and electrical completion status for assigned areas
