Electrical Foreman

About the role

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and safe operation of all electrical systems and equipment within the mine. This role ensures that all electrical work is conducted in compliance with the Coal Mines Regulation of 2017, maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.

What you'll do

• Oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical equipment and systems
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they lead to equipment failure
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and effective resolution of electrical problems
• Ensure all electrical work complies with the Coal Mines Regulation of 2017 and other relevant safety standards
