About the role

The Embedded Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, prototype bring-up, debugging and validation of embedded hardware for power electronic products.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop power electronics hardware such as DC-DC converters, battery chargers, inverters, PFC and related control electronics
  • Design analog, digital and microcontroller-based circuits, including voltage/current sensing, protection and signal conditioning
  • Select and validate MOSFETs/IGBTs, gate drivers, inductors, capacitors and other critical components
  • Develop schematics and support PCB layout, design review and prototype manufacturing
  • Bring up prototype boards and perform hardware debugging using oscilloscope, DMM, electronic load, power supply and other laboratory equipment
