Engineer - Designs

About the role

Analyze part designs to ensure manufacturability and recommend design changes if needed. Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for new mold designs and mold modifications. Create and maintain detailed mold design documentation including BOM, drawings and revision history. Work closely with tooling engineers, machinists and production staff during the mold manufacturing and debugging process.

What you'll do

• Design Thermoplastic injection moulds (Hot runner & Cold runner) using CAD software like UG NX, Solid Works & Auto CAD
• Analyze part designs to ensure manufacturability and recommend design changes if needed
• Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for new mold designs and mold modifications
• Create and maintain detailed mold design documentation including BOM, drawings and revision history
• Work closely with tooling engineers, machinists and production staff during the mold manufacturing and debugging process

• AutoCAD
• GD&T
• SolidWorks
• 3D modelling
• Siemens NX
• Troubleshooting
• Diploma
