About the role

We are looking forward for “Engineer – Mechanical Design” based in Chennai, India. The position requires a highly energetic, result-driven, self-motivated, and proactive individual with sound knowledge of Mechanical Design and development. Other core competency requirements are Customer focus, Strategic thinking, Functional Excellence, Integrity & Ethics, and Professional Maturity.

What you'll do

  • Need to understand the electrical products and conceptualize new ideas for new product development and for the betterment of existing products
  • Need to design the product as per UL & ANSI standards
  • Need to create Drawings based on ASME Y14.5M – 2009 standards
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor software modeling, Assembly configurations, sheetmetal & drafting
  • Good knowledge in GD&T and tolerance stack-up
